Sapling planting event at Burdur Hilmi-Hafize Evin Nursing Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center

Within the scope of March 21, 2024 World Forestry Day and Week, an afforestation and sapling planting event was carried out by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Burdur Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry for the Burdur Hilmi-Hafize Evin Nursing Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center affiliated with the Burdur Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services. Volunteer students from our Application and Research Center and our Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz SAY ŞAHİN participated in the event.

Within the scope of the event, 2000 tree saplings of different species, primarily stone pine, needle-leaved cedar, linden, ash, maple, and olive, were planted on 7 decares of land in the garden of Hilmi-Hafize Evin Nursing Home by protocol members, our students, nursing home residents, participating non-governmental organizations, and volunteer participants.
